Jessica Chobot (born Jessica Lynn Horn) is a veteran American on,camera host, writer, and producer who has been a staple of the gaming and paranormal communities since her viral debut in 2005. She is widely recognized for her formative years at IGN, where she hosted "The Daily Fix," and her tenure at Nerdist News, where she became the face of "nerd" pop culture for millions of viewers. Beyond hosting, she has made significant contributions to the gaming world as the voice and likeness of news reporter Diana Allers in "Mass Effect 3" and as a co,writer for the sci,fi game "Soul Code."
In late 2024 and 2025, Jessica transitioned away from her role as a lead investigator on Discovery’s "Expedition X" after seven seasons to focus on personal creative ventures and family. Since then, she has successfully "resurrected" her beloved paranormal brand with the "Bizarre States: Resurrected" and "Occulture Shock" podcasts, exploring themes of occult history and high strangeness.
