Joe Santagato is an American YouTube, comedian and podcaster, who was born and raised in New York. Santiago’s family has a history of success, with his older brother Thomas being a former Team USA athlete and national skeleton champion, whilst Keith had a gaming YouTube Channel from 2015 to 2017 with over 100,000 subscribers.
Santagato worked as a pizza delivery boy and waiter whilst growing his YouTube channel, having produced video content at the age of 13, focusing on short movies, sketches and song parodies. The young creator has also helped the create the Hasbro board game SPeak Out in which players recite phrases with a dental retractor place in their mouth while other players try to guess the phrase which is being said. Santagato is also a promoter of Hasbro’s Hearing Things board game, based on Santagato’s “Whad’ya Say” series. Santagato has credited comedians like George Carlin and Robin Williams as major comedic influences, whilst Jenna Marbles influenced his early YouTube channel career. Santagato has also had a YouTube channel titled SantagatoTV, as well as a popular self-titled Vine account. Santagato has worked with the likes of The Rock, in their YouTube Show titled Rock The Promo, and his podcast, The Basement Yard, has reached Number 1 on iTunes. The podcast covers a wide range of topics. Santagato also posts on his Instagram, which has over 914 thousand followers. The young creator also posts pictures of his dog, snippets from his podcast and travel.
